Azile Breau, 86, widow of Maurice Breau of Memramcook East, died Wednesday at the Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital after a brief illness.

Born at Notre Dame, she was a daughter of the late Cail and Sara (LeBlanc) LeBlanc.

Her husband died 20 years ago. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Joseph Breau (Anna) of Memramcook and Mrs. Freddie Cormier (Doris) of Lynn, Mass.; four sons, Hector of Stoney Creek, Ont., Gérald and Léonard, both of Memramcook and Léo Breau, with whom she resided; a brother, Fred LeBlanc of Cocagne, a half-sister, Mrs. Alphonse Léger (Stella) of Cocagne, 21 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren. Two daughters, Hectorine and Lilly, died previously.

The body is at Dupuis funeral home, Memramcook. Mass will be celebrated at 7:30 p.m. today from the Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook East. Entombment will be in the St. Thomas parish cemetery vault, St. Joseph, to await burial in the Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes cemetery in the spring.
